In 2005 he was a Fellow in Bamberg. After 10 years of his residency he returned and performed at Villa Concordia – reading from his latest novel „Das Lächeln der Aligatoren“, which received a nomination for the Leipzig book fair Prize 2015.

The composer and Fellow of 2009 finished the production of the family opera „Ronja Räubertochter“ (based on Astrid Lindgren’s childrens classic), which was presented 2015 at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and 2016 at Theater Dortmund several times!
