Siri Hermansen is currently completing her doctorate at the National Academy of the Arts in Oslo. Hermansen works with video, photography and installations focusing on adoption and survival strategies in places that undergo deep social, ecological and political change.
Hermansen exhibited recently at the National Museum of Art in Oslo, at The 14th International Seoul New Media Festival, Art Stations Foundation 5050 in Poznan, as well as in the 19th Bienniale of Sydney, 1814 revisited – The past is still (Norway) and Survival Kit Festival in Umeå in 2014. In 2013 she took part in group exhibitions including the Benin Biennale, Careof Gallery (Italia), Proartibus Foundation (Finland) and Silverlens Gallery (Singapore).
Siri Hermansen will present her exhibition "Dreaming In The Stonebed Valley" in Villa Concordia from january, 28th to march, 8th 2016!
