Iris ter Schiphorst Anniversary Concert
Event
Iris ter Schiphorst is one of the most important composers of contemporary music in Europe. Her 70th birthday in 2026 will mark the occasion for a concert series that will be performed in a special format at the very location where she worked as a recipient of the Villa Concordia Fellowship in 2015/16. Look forward to a concert with the Zafraan Ensemble at the Baroque Künstlerhaus next to the river Regnitz in Bamberg: zafraanensemble.com/en!
Wolke Verlag will release a print publication accompanied by an audio recording. Dirk von Lowtzow, frontman of the band Tocotronic, is also involved in the project: kiwi-verlag.de/autor.
Admission is free, but unfortunately the building is not wheelchair accessible. You’re warmly welcome!
