Director Nora-Eugenie Gomringer is welcoming a new group of artists to be awarded fellowships at the International House of Artists Villa Concordia, whose names were announced by Bavarian Minister of the Arts Dr. Ludwig Spaenle. The new fellows come from Norway and various parts of Germany, have been invited to spend eleven months in Bamberg working as visual artists, composers and authors and have taken up residence at the Villa Concordia in April.
Nora-Eugenie Gomringer will introduce “our new neighbors” to the Bamberg public in a relaxed round of interviews on Tuesday, May 12th at 7:00 pm in the main hall of the Villa Concordia. Admission is free.
The invited artists were nominated for the prestigious Villa Concordia fellowships by the Board of Trustees for consideration by the Bavarian Minister of Education, Science and the Arts.
