Kate Mackeson, born 1985, UK, graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Painting. Mackeson has had solo and group exhibitions in the UK and Germany. Her work has been honoured by the Eaton Trust Bursary (2018) and Jerwood Artist Bursary (2017). Between 2015 - 2018 she was a visiting lecturer at UWE, Bristol and at Coventry University. Before beginning her fellowship in Bamberg, Mackeson was awarded the Augusta Scholarship by the British School at Rome.
