Oleksandr Irwanez was awarded the Villa Concordia Fellowship of the Free State of Bavaria in 2023/24: villa-concordia.de/artists. During this time, he worked on a novel that will be published in autumn under the title ‘Hexenhimmel’ (Witches' Sky): edition-fototapeta.eu/vorschau. The Ukrainian author is returning to Bamberg for a reading and discussion, together with author Andriy Lyubka and their translator Alexander Kratochvil.
