Monika Immrová, born 1970 in Louny, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in 1995–2001, where she continued her doctoral studies in 2012–2018, completing her thesis entitled Recording and Visualization of the Canon of Proportions in Sculpture and Architecture. She has been exhibiting independently since 1996, with exhibitions including Členění (Division) at the House of Arts in České Budějovice (2017), Tříbení (Refining) at the Prague City Gallery (2020), and Monika Immrová at the Benedikt Rejt Gallery in Louny (2022). She is the author of several sculptural works, such as the fountain in Lázně Bělohradě (2022) and the longitudinal relief on the Nisa Factory building in Jablonec nad Nisou (2025). In 2008 and 2009, she won the Graphic Artist of the Year award and has illustrated several books. She is the co-author of the publications Socha 2 AVU 1990–2016 Demartini – Zeithamml (Sculpture 2 AVU 1990–2016 Demartini – Zeithamml), 2017 and Černé na Bílém (Black on White), 2024.

The artist was awarded the residency fellowship at the Künstlerhaus Bamberg by Bavarian State Minister Markus Blume at the suggestion of Villa Concordia art fellowship board members Walter Storms, gallery owner, and Katharina Vossenkuhl, Director of the Götz Collection. She will work in Bamberg for 11 month from mid-April to mid-March 2027.
